Airfer (ES)
The company founded by Fernando Ortigueira was given to the direction
of Lorenzo Alarcón a couple of years ago, with the challenge
to consolidate a good position in the market and to give a seal
of his own to Airfer paramotors. At the moment, Airfer supply their
models with engines Walkerjet WR 120 and WR200 (made in the Czech
Republic), H-E R80 and Corsair Black Devil. Most of their production
is made in their own premises in the province of Ciudad Real (Spain). |

Backbone
(FR)
This French company has been making paramotors for more than a decade
using light engines manufactured by Ros Motor (Italy) especially
for powered paragliding. For this PPG Comparison they brought a
125cc model that offers 29 HP, and a 200cc paramotor with 40 HP
(tandem), both with 3 types of hangpoint and one in versions carbon
prop and wood prop. |

Clemente (ES)
From Sevilla, Clemente have gained a good place in the Spanish market
thanks to their finely finished paramotors that incorporate thorough
details for the pilot. Special mention deserve their ‘light’
models equipped with the reliable Raket engines, although the range
is completed with heavier PPGs equipped with Snap 100 and Simonini
Mini 4 engines. |

H-E (ES)
The Madrilenian manufacturer has been some years in the market producing
paramotors and engines of their own -one with similar characteristics
to the popular Top 80 and a more powerful one of 120cc. Their engines
are used by other PPG manufacturers as well, and their PPG models
still sell at quite competitive prices. |

MambaAir (CZ)
This Czech company brought an original design of paramotor, the
Mantis, with variable geometry that allows for supine position in
flight for a more efficient glide with less drag, and also more
active flying using body weight shift (similar to free flying).
The brand has close ties to aviation and produces several products,
including helicopters! |

PAP
(ES)
The duo Pierre Aubert - David Bretones still enjoys a preeminent
place in the PPG world thanks to the high quality of their units
and to a good team of pilots who are in the first positions of the
most important international championships. They continue using
the Top 80 engines but their new "stars" are the more
powerful Ros 100 and 125. |

Uptimal (EE.UU)
The only manufacturer coming from across the ocean; their offer
is a special model equipped with a Snap 100 engine, and a unique
fuel tank integrated in the chassis for maximum protection in case
of impact and more ease of movements when on the back. Uptimal is
based in California and their range also includes engines Corsair
and Top 80 with the same type of cage. |
