Nuevos Parapentes New paraglider: Sol Synergy 5
16/05/2012

The 5th generation of the EN C model from the Brazilian manufacturer is a new 3-line design with a higher-performance profile, which allowed for an improvement of 4-6 km/h of top speed and a glide ratio of 10.2, according to Sol.

The Synergy 5 has lower aspect ratio than its predecessor, 5.95, with the same projected aspect ratio, and “exponential performance gain”. It is a more compact, lighter paraglider, stable and “pleasant to fly”, that does not compromise the security level expected for EN C wings.
Among its features, Sol underline its long and tolerant brake travel, precise handling, high internal pressure, stability at top speed and “excellent” takeoff behavior even in no wind.
It comes with thin risers of 15mm and 15% less line consumption.
The Synergy 5 is intended for pilots experienced in this class and also for those who wish to move up to this level and fly with great performance still enjoying good passive security, according to the manufacturer. Available in 4 sizes.
