Results of the Tests done during the Ojovolador PPG Comparison 2006:

Category SUPERHEAVY.
Peso piloto recomendado 125 Kg o más. Estimación de empuje para el vuelo nivelado 42 Kg.

Units used: Consumption: Lt/hour - Noise: decibels - Thrust: Kg - Temperature: ºC - Pressure: hp - Humidity % - LF=Level Flight

* Click" on a parameter to organize the data according to the factor you want to observe. Please check the Notes below the table – relevant for some of the results.
** Before you see these results you must have read our advice and explanations to use the data, in the Intro page.
*** THRUST: Remember that the thrust results are not absolute but references, and cannot be compared with total fidelity due to the different atmospheric conditions at the moment of each test. When you observe the thrust results please also check out the time, temperature, pressure and humidity at the moment of the test, as these factors affect thrust more than they affect any other parameter.
Please check the Notes below the table too.

Important notes:
***

The fuel tank capacity is in all the cases as announced by the manufacturer

**1 With the carbon propeller it gave 10 kg less of thrust at 6,800 RPM. When it was hot lost 3 kg of thrust.
**2 First we tested it with a carbon propeller and it gave higher thrust at low rpms, but with the wood prop thurst increased by 2.5 kg with a little more noise.
**3 The Stronger is a bicylindric prototype engine still in a testing phase. After the tests, the maximum temperature reached was 202ºC in one cylinder and 159ºC in the other.
**4 The propeller shaft is not in line with the thrust sensor - possible loss of 2 kg of thrust.
**5 On the previous day this model reached 76 kg of max thrust on the bench.
**6 The engine was warmed up before the test.
**7 At the time of the Comparison event this paramotor was still under development and was not being sold.
