Six pilots were penalized for flying in the clouds during the 2nd task. The jury and the organization decided to remove 50% of their task points, and not the 100% as it had been announced before. The pilots affected by this decision -taken after the protests received from at least 2 teams- are Andi Aebi and Karin Appenzeller from Switzerland, Helmut Eichholzer (AUT), Jimmy Pacher (IT), and the Slovenian pilots Primoz Podobnik and Gasper Prevc.
