Results after 5 tasks: Donini, Maurer, Brauner

The provisional results of today’s task put Luca Donini (IT, Gradient Avax) still on the first place of these Europeans, only 40 points ahead of present champion Chrigel Maurer (CH, Advance) who is on 2nd place, and the Czech Thomas Brauner (Mac Para Magus) 3rd. Jean Marc Caron (FR, UP Targa), who was 4th in the overall results until today, suffered a big collapse and crashed the ground just before crossing the goal line -he was lucky to escape uninjured, but lost his chances of podium.
In women, the current champion Petra Krausova (CZ, Mac Para Magus) is keeping the title, with Ewa Wisnierska (DE, Advance) on the 2nd place, and Caroline Brille (FR, Advance) 3rd.
 By Nations, Switzerland is 1st, Italy is 2nd and the Czech Republic is 3rd.
The forecast for tomorrow is not too promising, so these could be the final results!!!
