6th Task stopped: Luca & Petra are the Champions!

Under a not very optimistic grey sky the pilots launched at midday from Mont Chery for a 6th task of 5 turnpoints and goal in Morzine (43,9 km). There were storms forecasted for the afternoon, and the task had to be changed from the first idea of a race to Annecy (50km). About an hour after the start point opened it started to rain at some places and there were some big developments at certain points of the Morzine valley, with strong turbulences. There were at least 4 parachute deployments -2 women. The task was stopped before any pilot could complete it so it scores no points. The final results are up to the 5th task.
The new European Champions then are Luca Donini (IT, Gradient Avax) and Petra Krausova (CZ, Mac Para Magus) who is keeping the continental title. By Countries, the champions are the Swiss.
